It's here! And we're alive.

I had a pretty good time, even if we didn't go out tonight. My dad had a VIP invitation to one of those millennium celebrations that would be shown live on TV but my mom had a sore foot so we weren't able to go. I didn't mind that much anyway. My dad was able to buy some fireworks and we did them tonight. It was pretty smoky outside, what with other people lighting up fireworks and all. I think I'm beginning to smell like smoke. Anyway, the fireworks were pretty good, especially the fountain. We had 20 of them. It looked so beautiful when my dad lighted them at the same time. My dad bought only a few of the noisy variety ( 2 'judas belts' which had 100 firecrackers each belt) and it freaked out my little brother when he lit them up, which was quite hilarious.

Hi to Peter, Nikki and Jacqui, who were the first to greet me a happy new millennium.

I was able to start playing Final Fantasy VIII this afternoon, and now I can see why Stephen likes it so much. The graphics are the bomb, the music is really cool (click here for the soundtrack), and even though I don't know how to get around much, I can tell it's going to be a pretty good game. I swear, Squall and Rinoa are the sweetest couple on earth. :) I can't wait to see what happens to them. I guess that's the number one reason why I like the game; it's adventure with a romantic twist. Yeah. In fact, I found more of those "sweet" pictures of them. I'm changing my layout soon, so expect to see more Squall and Rinoa! I'm doing okay with Clock Tower II, except I forgot to do something which make my cheats useless and the game harder.

Anyway, just when I was about to sigh with relief about this Y2K bit, Mark T. told me that there's something about Russian nukes about to explode or something. I hope not! I crave for excitement, but I don't mean for the world to end.

Well, aside from that, there isn't any other news so I'll have to end this for now. Good night!
