Date: February 25, 2000 Time: 6:54 p.m. Title: Chasing bunnies Listening to: Break Out by the Foo Fighters Mood: playful Quote: "Let us not abuse and destroy the freedom and democracy that was gained during that quiet revolution"- President Joseph Estrada, President of the Philippines I just got back from CyberTown with Martin. See, he just spent 4,000 CC (that's the currency in CyberTown) buying and decorating his house and I got a bit jealous of it. I told him looking at his house made me feel like decorating mine, since it was absolutely empty. So we go to the mall so I could buy furniture and when I look at my money, I saw I had 2,879 CC which was more than enough for a house as big as Martin's and some furniture. So I bought a new house and it looks soooo cool. It's really huge but other than a couch downstairs, a TV upstairs and a bed in my room, it's totally bare. Check it out at http://www.colonycity.com/home/Tomoe69 but I think you need to sign up before you can look at it. Don't forget to put my name (Tomoe69) when the form asks who referred you to CyberTown. Remember when I said yesterday that I wouldn't speak to Stephen, Chris and Alex anymore? Well, I changed my goddamn mind. See, I had ordered my sister to say that I'm away/eating/whatever whenever Stephen calls. Well, she overdid it as usual. He called last night and my sister was like, "She's eating dinner" in her bossy tone. He called ten minutes later and he had hardly said "hello" when she said, "She's eating dinner!" and hung up real fast. I decided to take the call the third time and told him frankly that I was mad at him for being an asshole Wednesday night. I expected him to get all defensive and crap but he said, "I know. I don't blame you for feeling that way." Then he told me he was mad at Alex because she made him wait for her to show up at her house and when she did, she said, "I have to go to my friend's house. Seeya." After telling me that, I started saying stuff like, "Stop letting her manipulate you that way. Learn to stand up for yourself. When she does something you don't like, say it. You need to be more honest with her." I spent almost half an hour giving him advice like that and when I was done, he was like, "You're right. I'll go talk to her when she gets home tonight." Then he told me that I was the only friend who cared enough to give him advice about Alex, which I found remotely strange. Anyway, he told me he'd call Chris and that we'd hang out and forgetting all my vows of ignoring him I said, "Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes." We went to Chris's house first and I asked him if he had any RPGs he wanted to lend me. He said, "Oh sure, I've got lots of them." Then he gave me six or so cds and it was good Stephen brought his backpack cause holding them can be pretty tiring. The benefits of having a friend who's an RPG king. At the moment, I am playing Lunar, which is an anime RPG. In my opinion, it's easier than Final Fantasy VIII. Anyway, after finding out that Chris's PlayStation was busted (his is the oldest among the group), we went to Stephen's place, played the usual games and ate pizza until it was time to go home. Today was less eventful. All I did was play Lunar, read Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice , chat with Casey and hang out with Martin. Interview with the Vampire is a damn good book. Maybe I'm just being morbid, but reading it made me wish I was a vampire myself. What I would do to be out all night! I bet I would react the way Louis did when it came to actually killing people. I'd feel very much guilty too. I guess not all of your human side dies when you become a vampire. Somehow your conscience still stays with you. I'm gonna get more Anne Rice books. One more month before I turn fourteen. Today's supposed to be a real important holiday in the Philippines because of the bloodless People Power revolt that drove away the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos fourteen years ago. Because of that our democracy came back. I was born one month after it so I guess I should be proud. I am a freedom baby. It's also Alex's (the online version) birthday today. Happy birthday! Three more weeks till summer break. I bet my summer days would go something like today. It's probably a good idea that I won't be too busy because it'll give me time to concentrate on more important things, like learning the guitar. Guess I'd better get back to playing Lunar. Good night. <<< ~ sign ~ archives ~ >>>
