Date: September 22, 1999 Time: 9:28 p.m. Title: And In Today Already Walks Tomorrow Mood: happy Quote: "Hush, little bright line, don't you cry/You'll be a cliche by and by." -Fred Allen Gayle the Goody-Goody and I broke one of the major rules of school today. See, the blouse of our uniform is translucent, so we have to wear undershirts over our bras because we might lose our virginities if anyone else catches a glimpse of our bras. Well, after P.E., Gayle and I were really sweating, so we decided to remove our undershirts and pray that there won't be a surprise inspection or anything like that. It's the first time I did that and it actually felt good--I wasn't roasting in an oven anymore. The school really should remove the "no undershirt" rule cause it's really hot and everything. Plus, there aren't even any guys to gawk at us, excluding the jocks of course, but that's another story. I don't think they even wear bras. Heck, I don't think they even have breasts! Anyway, enough of that. At Science class today, I was kicking Nikki's table (who sits in front of me) just to annoy her, and it ended with both of us throwing books at each other. The last straw was when she tore the piece of paper I used to write my notes, and I tried to give that look that turns people into stone but I ended up laughing. The teacher, who is an idiot, didn't get mad at me because I was participating in the discussion anyway. Oh well, you have to do something good to get away with something bad. Speaking of Nikki, I nearly cut my thumb in half because of her stupid locker. Okay, it was only a small gash but I did bleed a lot so at first, it looked like I did cut my thumb in half. See, I was helping her arrange her stuff when--ouch!--my thumb brushed against something sharp. I wanted to get mad but I just laughed the whole thing off. I can't believe I'm stupid enough to injure my hand inside a locker! The interesting part was, Monica walked by the moment the accident happened. I bet she's a witch. I bet that's why I gashed my finger--she must've done those voodoo things or what. She definitely cast a spell on Mako. Why else would a guy like him fall for a girl like her when he could always fall for a girl like me? Wiiiiiiittttcccchhhh! Stephen and Alex changed their schedule for math tutorial to mine so the three of us could be together. But the thing is, they have to come thirty minutes after I do (I come in at 7 p.m.) so I could be able to concentrate on the stuff I was doing. We were quieter today than we were at Monday--a relief for my tutor--cause Stephen has a long test tomorrow and Alex has a quiz. You know, I never really study for quizzes until the day itself comes because when I study the day before the quiz, I end up flunking it cause I forget all the crap I memorized. I read the stuff the day before and memorize it on the day itself so I can't really call it cramming. Two more days until Friday! :) <<< ~ sign ~ archives ~ >>> |
