Date: September 25, 1999 Time: 9:44 p.m. Title: Read Between the Lies Mood: tired Major Accomplishment Of The Day: Got in the high score list of DX Ball in my cousin's comp!! Quote: "Backward, turn backward, O Time, in your flight,/ And tell me just one thing I studied last night." -Hobart Brown I'm tired. Choir rehearsals sorta sucked today, Cause for one thing, we had whole day rehearsals. I was still A bit Sleepy from last night so I was like, nodding off while wE were singing. Finally, I got so sleepY I slept through the third and last break of the day. I was hoping I'd sleep through the last thIrty minuteS of rehearsals--wishful thinking. But anyway, the Good thing About it is that there aren't anY rehearsals next Saturday. Whoo hoo. After rehearsals, I was supposed to go to Alex's house to practice for the dance revolution competition (more on that later), But my mom said that one of my Uncles was just ordained and was going to have his first mass Today. That made me mad, a little but I felt a bit better about it when Stephen told me that he and Alex Would go to the mall and that we'd practice tomorrow afternoon instead. We arrived during the Homily of the mass, since the church was sO far away. It was a bit touching, and then when he mentioned the things he saCrificed for it, I decided that priesthood, though noble, isn't exActly my type of pRofession. I'll lEave the Sermons to Martin. After the mass, I went to my cousin's house to visit my maternal grandfather (who lives at their house) and messed around with the computer. I don't like love songs and boy bands but I have to admit, I like the BSB's remake of No One Else Comes Close. That's probably the only song by a boy band that I like. Do you guys have the Dance Revolution machines in your place? Well, Stephen, Alex and I tried going on one of those machines last night and we all looked soooooo stupid. I got the steps all totally mixed up but after three tries, I made it to level two. At least there weren't much people watching. In my opinion, you've got to look stupid at least once in your life. Anyway, there's going to be a dance revolution contest like, three weeks from now and we're planning on joining it. Alex has that game on her Playstation and we're going to practice till we know all the crap we need to know. If the prize money they give out isn't that much, hey, at least I can show off in front of my school friends the next time we go to the mall. I'm leaving for my retreat on Monday! And the sucky thing is, my camera's busted. See, I had my dad fix it on Wednesday, and he said I'll get it at Friday, so I was like, "Good." But today, he said that it would take two weeks to fix it because something about the motor. Damn! I'm tired. Goodnite. <<< ~ sign ~ archives ~ >>> |
