Title: The Little People's Star and Slave
Mood/s: happy
Major Accomplishment/s Of The Day: I was able to study for my fricking exams.
Quote: "I am my little people's star and slave. When I go out into the barrios, I get dressed because I know my little people want to see a star. Other presidents' wives have gone to the barrios wearing house dresses and slippers. That's not what people want to see. People want someone they can love, someone to set an example." -Imelda Marcos

Exams suck! If you don't have to take exams in your school, you're very very lucky. Exam week is the worst, man. It's like solitary confinement--no TV, no Internet and worst of all, no telephone. I can't wait for Friday.

I'm really beginning to believe that I've got a lot of influence over people. See, ever since Stephen saw my room, he couldn't stop saying that he couldn't believe how clean it was. We never had a conversation without him saying, "Lauren! I can't believe how clean your room is!" I didn't think much about it until last Saturday. Entering his room was like entering another dimension. It was so bare. As in the only things you can see are the bed, the desk, the clock, the phone and the lamp. It was a really big shock cause there used to be lots of junk on the shelves, books and empty soda cans on the desk and wads of paper on the bed. Now, it looked like no one's been living there for awhile. And now matter how hard I tried, I couldn't locate even a single speck of dust. When I inquired on the sudden makeover, he glared at me and said, "This is all your fault! I got so jealous of your room, I spent two weeks cleaning this whole place up!" I asked him where he put all that junk and he said that most of them are now in the garage. The rest are organized in his drawers. I couldn't believe it. I, the Queen of Messy Drawers, actually influenced Stephen to clear all his junk and to organize it in his drawers. Someone alert the media.

My Aunt Lorna's going to give me the makeup I need for my Halloween costume when she comes back to the Philippines ( Martin, please send the Jewel Poetry book to my aunt before she leaves) this saturday. Cool! Now all I need is the nose ring, but I can easily get that here. Anyway, guess what my sister is going as? A punk. Talk about unoriginality, man! Am I really so influential that people copy everything from my webpage to what I'm wearing for my once-a-year candy ripoff?

Anyways, I have to go and *barf* study. Seeya.
