Title: Stay in bed all day till Sunday
Mood/s: disappointed

I spent the day helping my mom bake Christmas cookies and chilling at Alex place. Stephen's gone because his school is competing in some stupid cheerleading competition. And here's the sucky part. They have guy cheerleaders in the cheering squad in his school and he's one of them. The worst thing? He enjoys cheerleading. Alex and I are pretty pissed that he dumped us so he could wave pompoms with a couple of macho-type guys and girls in short skirts. He didn't even as much as invite us to go. But he did say that the competition was going to be televised; the problem is, he forgot to tell us what channel it was.

Alex and I were thinking of making a book entitled, All the Things That Suck. It's actually a compilation of the things, activities, places and people we hate: Pikachu (Pokemon, actually), cheerleading, John Kim, boy bands. We'd take pictures (we'll draw mustaches on the pics of the people we hate), screw up some lyrics and draw caricatures of our enemies if pictures aren't available. After it's done, we're planning to send it to a publisher and after someone publishes it, we're going to make a second compilation called, All the Things We Love. In it, we will include: the mall, the color green, Dance Revolution and Garbage. We'll probably include Stephen in making the latter, but definitely not in making All the Things That Suck because he likes cheerleading and might get offended. Hard to believe that one of my best friends is pro-cheerleading.

I'm so pissed at myself! Last night, I called Kristel and we talked on the phone for a good two hours. And guess what? She and Michelle got in the school play! Sh*t! I can't believe that of all times, I chose yesterday to wimp out at something. I'm so jealous! And I'm so mad! I have a confession to make: the reason why I wanted to get in the play was because I know CK and Mako would be watching it. And if they saw me there, they'd think, "Wow, I didn't know she was such a great actress!" Shallow reason huh? The school play was my only chance of impressing them. Now I've got nothing. Sh*t. Next year, crush or no crush, I will try out for the school play and I will make sure I get in no matter what! By the way, congratulations to Kristel and Michelle for getting in the school play--I sure admire their guts.

I 'm proud of Casey for getting into the finals at a forensics tournament. Whatever the results of the tournament today, at least he didn't wimp out like me. That's a sure winner. I'm learning , don't worry.

Kristel and I also tried calling CK using her three-way last night, just to hear his voice. We had to come up for a reason for our call and I remember Gayle telling me that he had a game Saturday and Sunday. So I said, "Let's just wish him good luck on the game." But at the last minute, we chickened out so at this point in my life, I could say there is nothing that could make me happier than to listen to his voice.

I'm starting an e-mail correspondence with this French guy who met me through my Jewel website. He's teaching me french. Now tell me honestly: are French guys cute and, err, romantic?

Speaking of being romantic and in a Christmas-sy mood, I want to dedicate this Filipino Christmas song, Pasko na Sinta ko ( which our choir recorded) , to you.

Alex gave me a couple of magazines she didn't want anymore and I'm going to start reading them. Ciao!
